Kitchen Area Smart Switch
A POC of a smart switch, or a switch with a programmable dashboard. Original idea came from something to easily keep track of Mugsy while he's outside. Once I learned of openHASP and saw it had a Home Assistant integration I figured this is the best option FOSS-wise. It looks like a Landon 8 display switch is all we need as it just installs in a normal light-switch outlet. This is a good test for a small-scale dashboard to both prove the concept that a large scale dashboard is a good idea, but also a possible light-switch replacement across the house. These are pretty fucking cheap at 50 bucks a pop.
